1000 consecutive City games

I don’t know at the moment but I’ll ask my mate on Saturday how many he’s got. He’s been to every game since the early 80s, apart from lockdown, so I’d imagine he will be on the maximum number of points it’s possible to be on.
Points were given for games at Hyde and just handed out willy nilly sometimes like Cook did in South Africa. Probably tops around 30k.

Apologies. Correct. I was there. Only opened the bottom tier of the Kipoax.

3,000 not a bad crowd for a reserve game really. Although they probably had about a thousand of those. Officially probably our lowest ever crowd for a first team home game I imagine. Well apart from Everton the other year but you can’t really count that.

Joe Royle proclaimed a reserve team before and the club only opened the bottom tier that sent out a message not to bother. I did as always go to home games if I able.

Some Bayern Munich fans turned up, wonder what they made of it?

I’d never realised that United played them in the group stages aswell as the final. I mean, I assume that’s why they were in town?
