109 What to expect?

First time in new seats in 109 tonight.

Just wondering what to expect? Is it good, mental or quiet as a mouse?

I thought we got to choose what song they sing? New season, new rules?
 
I'm expecting war with the stewards to recommence if the letters people got are true. So expect people standing up, slowly sitting down, people getting chucked out, people singing stand up if you love City...

Towards the end of last season it became a de facto standing area and the atmosphere effectively as good as all but the top rows of 110/111. It's a good block when the stewards aren't ruining it.

Really buzzing now. I take it the letters said "sit down or else?"

What row you on mate.

Im on row G. Its moslt standup sit down type of block with a group of lads at the front getting everything going. (can be annoying sometimes but also great at the same time).
 
Simple.

Come over to 110/111. We're all stood anyway, so a few more squashed in won't matter. When they see rows of empty seats in 109, they'll have a rethink.

Don't let the 'SHOWSEC' b******'s get you down.

Don't know. I haven't got one actually. At the start of last season they just had the stewards telling everybody to sit down every two minutes. Very slowly people would sit down and then there would be a 'moment of excitement' and everyone would stand up again or people would chant stand up if you love City. Repeat ad infinitum with about three people thrown out for arguing with the stewards per match. This lasted for about five home games and then they gave up and the rest of the season was quality.
 
109 is the place to be apart from the fat dude who sings "thats why you're going down" to every team we ever play! I'm guessing it will get an airing tonight. Also the dweeby little steward is a bit of a bell. Apart form that its good, usually a good atmosphere although I did get a letter warning us to sit down the other day so we might be told to sit tonight with it being first game an' all
