As usual a gloriously vague injury update from our Womens Team that basically hints possibility she could play within 2 weeks, but also could mean shes out for 6 months. Why on earth do they do this - be honest, they will know now what the injury is and what the timeframe is, just be honest and let the fans know the truth instead of this cloak and dagger secrecy like they are holding nuclear codes.
 
To be fair, Jeglertz said they don't have the results of her scan back yet. So it might not be a case of them deliberately vague on this occasion. Guess we'll know later in the week.

They want to hoodwink people into buying a ticket in the belief that Hemp will start! Or they are trying to con the opposition into thinking she might be a starter. Or perhaps they don't want to be a Jeremiah and be the bearer of bad news.

Anyone buying a ticket cos they only want to see one player deserves to be mugged off anyway lol.

That said, I think its completely believable that they wouldn't know the length of injury layoff just yet.
 
Jeglertz has confirmed Hemp has an ankle injury and will be out "for a few weeks". Huge relief that it sounds like a shorter lay off than we were expecting.

I also welcome this new era of injury transparency ha.

Note I saw on X said it’s 2 weeks. If that’s true, I’m really relieved as I’d feared it could’ve been a lot longer tbh.
