11 | Lauren Hemp

Incredible performance of a genuinely world-class footballer yesterday.
Devastating in one-v-one situations, relentless in her pressing, even as a makeshift wingback she excelled, despite carrying an injury.
Consistently decisive in big moments, she became the driving force behind the title-winning campaign.
Beyond the goals and assists, her energy, intelligence and ability to change the rhythm of matches has truly set her apart. Week after week she delivered with a level of consistency reserved for the very best, evolving from a star player into one of the defining figures of the women’s game.
Take a bow Hempo!
who would be the bigger loss to the team... her or Shaw

I'd have her in early pre-season and work on nothing but her finishing, its the weakest part of her game. If she became adept with both feet in front of goal she would go from being very very good to utterly world class. Her current finishing is 4/10 with the odd lucky screamer but christ she's missed some sitters. Love her to bits though and shes blue through and through, just like me!

Best player in the Women's game bar none..

As others have said, truly delightful to watch her play the game. Sadly, like (for example) De Bruyne, David Silva and Yaya in the Men's game, she never gets the true recognition from the media that her prodigious footballing talent deserves. And without question or hesitation, I say it's because (like those guys) she wears a sky blue shirt rather than a red one..

Long may Lauren continue to thrive and be successful as a player, both for us Blues and for England..

Very hard to say. They both bring so many different elements to the team. Lauren has pace even after her injury, and goals, not as many as she could but she seems to prefer the assist into the box after rounding the full back, but Bunny has such control, back to goal, can't get the ball off her (the second goal yesterday was because Brighton couldn't get the ball without fouling her) and she has left foot, right foot, and she must be the best header of a ball in the women's game. Wouldn't want to lose either.

I simply love her : amazing winger and nearly unplayable . Yesterday our game turned when she began finally to get the ball after 35 minutes . Never gives up either but , if she fails to regain possession , she simply shrugs . With a decent LB behind her next season she'll be even better.. .
Love watching her play. Very exciting and talented. Just need to bring Georgia Stanway home now.
