He doesn’t have the height or pace to fulfill the defensive duties against such opponents. Club has known that for seasons but papered over the cracks. Not his fault just the harsh reality.

He was awful today and easily the worst game he’s had for City. He’s more than good enough to play for us a back up left back, it’s not his fault we’re missing the whole of our defence through injury.

I'm a big fan of his and I hope he stays but he had a shocking game today. So did Fernandinho who generally is rock solid. It happens.

can fault him.. he is not an LB, and putting there Grealish or Foden they would be even worse LB's than Zin.
time for us to stop refusing to sign a LB after the colossal flop Mendy, and and that would also give a kick up in the arse for Cancelo, to fight for his place even more.
