12 Years Ago Tomorrow!!

Up there with the birth of my first child as one of the best moments in my life

She knows, I made a joke about it in my speech on our wedding day, to great cheers from the blues there.

They should have a statue of that celebration outside the ground. I bloody love that goal, i could watch it non stop for a week and still celebrate the way i did at wembley

I know, I remember being 2-0 down and having the slow realisation of about to be having another season in Division 2 and going to away games at York again....but then as you say, THAT goal...

would have been difficult we relegated them with a 4-0 win on the last home game of the season

Found a copy of The Sun in the loft today- It's a wrap round with the Sun masthead turned Sky Blue! Just to prove they haven't always hated us. On the day I went ballistic when Horlock scored (just thought it was typical City-too little too late) When Paul equalised I just thought we would lose on pens. Because as City fans we were always fearing the worst. How times change.

i watched it in the dragon in whitefield,when we was 2-0 down i was talking to somebody i ain`t seen in ages and i had tears in my eyes,must have thought i`d lost the plot.

i remember flicking a v-sign to the screen when horlock pulled one back and thinking why the fuck didn`t we do that at 0-0 and when dickov scored it was beer everywhere and losing the plot.

as for the penalties,i was outside in the beer garden listening for the cheers and plucked up enough courage to come back in just to catch edgehill putting his in,just!!!!!

cue weaver and it was mental for the next few hours and into moon under the water in town for celebrations..

super city!!!!

Don't remember that tbh. Either way the thought of still being in that division at 2-0 down was a scary one.

Dickov's goal and the roar of the crowd still gives me goosebumps every time I watch it!

This one may be slightly more dramatic, but hey-ho. I think both of them get that feeling of absolute joy across!
