13. David Gonzalez

Let’s look at the 13

Robinho
Nationality: Brazilian
Age: 26
Verdict: Crazy as a box of frogs, but on his day is a sublime player and great finisher. Robinho will need to learn that he is part of a team and that he is lucky to have teh opportunity to play for Manchester City
KEEP – Last Chance

Shaun Wright-Phillips
Nationality: English (HG)
Age: 28
Verdict: Fans Favourite – second spell at City – has never reached the starry heights he did on first spell at club. Upset a few people when asking for a bumper pat rise, is good honest pro, willing squad player and will provide competition.
KEEP

Stephen Ireland
Nationality: Irish (HG)
Age: 23
Verdict: Fans Favourite - Ireland is superman, or is he, last year his form was not up to scratch, but has bags of potential and is bound to find this if sold to one of our competitors.
KEEP

Craig Bellamy
Nationality: Welsh (HG)
Age: 31
Verdict: Fans Favourite - Nut Job – the man you love to hate, great passion, work rate and eye for a goal, takes no shit and willing to be part of the squad but would be a disruptive influence to Mancini
KEEP

Michael Johnson
Nationality: English (HG)
Age: 22
Verdict: Michael has been unlucky with injuries; he has bags of potential but would really struggle to break into the match day squad let alone starting 11.
LOAN to Premiership team – non rival or Keep until fitness improves and register for second half of the season

Nedum Onuoha
Nationality: English (HG)
Age: 23
Verdict: Born in Manchester and fans favourite although has never lived up to some people’s expectations and has struggled to claim a place as CH or RB.
LOAN to Premiership team – non rival

Jo
Nationality: Brazilian
Age: 23
Verdict: Excellent young talent, perhaps a little light weight for a big lad but has shown he knows where teh back of teh net is
LOAN to Premiership team – non rival

Felipe Caicedo
Nationality: Ecuador
Age: 21
Verdict: Big Phil could be fans favourite, built like an ox, powerful and has an eye for goal but lacks experience and would currently struggle to get anywhere near starting squad
LOAN to Premiership team – non rival

Roque Santa Cruz
Nationality: Paraguay
Age: 28
Verdict: Hughes tried so desperately to sign him but has struggled for injuries since his arrival at Eastlands, most fans think he has had his chance, but would be willing to play as squad player as he did for majority of his time Bayern.
Too sum it up – he is too injury prone
SELL – to highest bidder

Javier Garrido
Nationality: Spain
Age: 25
Verdict: Nice guy and cracks a great free kick but is now 4th choice at Left back and lacks a bit of pace, hsi future is elsewhere – good luck for the future
SELL – to highest bidder

Shaleum Logan
Nationality: England
Age: 22
Verdict: Manchester lad but will struggle to get to anywhere near the level required
SELL – to highest bidder

Kelvin Etuhu
Nationality: Nigerian
Age: 22
Verdict: seems to be a bit of a trouble maker and will not make the grade – needs to be moved on sharply
SELL – to highest bidder

David Gonzalez
Nationality: Colombian
Age: 28
Verdict: 4th choice Keeper
Don’t register for 25 but keep around the club unless someone makes a bid to buy him

So squad is as follows if the signings are made and the under 21 players are not loaned out
1. Shay Given
2. Joe Hart
3. Stuart Taylor
4. Wayne Bridge
5. Aleksandar Kolarov
6. Greg Cunningham
7. Micah Richards
8. Pablo Zabaleta
9. Jerome Boateng
10. Dedryck Boyata
11. Joleon Lescott
12. Kolo Toure
13. Vincent Kompany
14. Javan Vidal
15. Adi Ibrahim
16. Gareth Barry
17. (Milner)
18. Nigel de Jong
19. Yaya Toure
20. Patrick Vieira
21. David Silva
22. Adam Johnson
23. Stephen Ireland
24. Vladimir Weiss
25. Shaun Wright-Phillips
26. Craig Bellamy
27. Robinho
28. Carlos Tevez
29. (WOW)
30. Emmanuel Adebayor
31. (Balotelli)

The most difficult think will be keeping all these players happy – but that squad is what dreams are made of

Pointless registering 3 Goalkeepers. If I was Mancini there would only be 2 in squad that is Given and Hart. If 1 gets injured bring in the Under 21 goalkeeper. It means there is a extra place for a out field player.

Very good post but Nedum was born in Nigeria ;)

Yeah your right Nedum is Nigerian but I think he holds a British password and classes himself as English - could be wrong though

Either way hes homegrown, so english or not that doesnt matter.

If i recall correctly, teams can only loan out 2 players to other teams in the same division, the likes of Big Phil and Jo may have to go abroad.

Do you know what it is? I reckon it's something obvious like 'Ned123' or 'password'. ;)
