13 Years Ago Today City 1 Rags 0 FA Cup Semi Final Wembley

I couldn't stomach the agony of the last few minutes, but strangely once Gareth Barry won that Free Kick, and I knew the ref was about to blow for time, I wanted it to last forever

What a great day that was..set off from bury at 6 and arrived at Wembley around 12...beers from the off licence and then onto the roundabout.
It was great watching coach loads of blues arriving and seeing the reception that rag coaches got.
Walked up Wembley way in the middle of loads of rag cunts..all giving it large but doing fuck all as usual.
Brilliant atmosphere in the ground and even better going back to our mini bus parked near the rag coaches..plenty of punches thrown and they fucked off quickly when they realised that we weren't backing down.
On way back we stopped about 1 mile from Wembley to get refreshments and there was a minibus of rags on a side street..a few of them got off giving it verbals but as soon as we piled off our bus they ran back to theirs..
Must admit going to Wembley we only saw the odd car with rag fans and the rest of the traffic was blues ..same on the way back.
Loads of blues winding them up with a loud rendition of .." you only live round the corner" and their only comeback was fack off back to Manchester you northern cunts.
That was really the start of them knowing we were here to stay.
I remember the M6 being a swathe of blue and white all the way down, i honestly think we outnumbered them about 10/1. Didn't notice many rags till Warwick services .

What a day! First time in the Green Man and then a pub crawl down the high street bumping into blues i knew, all happy. TOJ was there stood on a table doing what she does, City songs all over the pubs, brilliant.

Winning that game was the catalyst to our success and beating Stoke in the final was more important than the Aguero moment i think because it was our first trophy since 76 league cup win.

This is one a few days I wish I could do all over again.

Brilliant time on the ferry.
The beer.
Train to shithole London.
The nerves creeping in.
Usual prematch full English breaky.
The growing nerves.
Sky blue sky.
The Greeman.
The beer.
The joy.
The many friends.
The singing.
Walking up to Wembley.
The returning of the nerves.
Wembley since 1981.
Entering the stadium.
Blue and white.
So fck proud.
The Poznan.
The nerves.
No nails left.
Taking control of the game.
The growing confidence.
The togetherness in the stands.
The wee.
Ugly City wankers in the toilets.
Half time beers.
2nd half control.
Anger for not finishing off these twats.
Yaya.
The explosion of noise I.
The joy.
The celebrations.
Cityfans.
The songs.
The confidence drifting again.
Swearing at Scoles.
The joy him walking off.
The nerves.
The wee.
The last few minutes.
The fck nerves.
Fck extra time.
Still the fck wee.
The swearing.
The final whistle.
The explosion of noise II.
Defending Balotelli.
Rags doing the firedrill.
The joy.
The hugging.
Lifting the cup.
The tears.
The proudness.
The joy.
The celebrations by the players.
The joy.
Leaving Wembley a proud blue.
The Greenman again.
Getting a wee at last.
The joy.
The beer.
The singing.
Being wasted.
Wondering how I got to the hotel.
In bed.
Knackered.
Proudly crying of joy.
Asleep with my Mancini scarve.

The day we discovered the Green man pub ..... no everyones cup of tea but wow, i have had some great days in there and the semi being one of them.
The most emotional i have ever been at a match ...
It was indeed the day the tide turned after decades of that shower of shite dominating .
