I was fortunate enough to add the shirt Paddy Kenny was wearing when Sergio scored 'THAT' goal into my collection this week and was wondering if any fellow Bluemooner's have any memorabilia from the iconic afternoon or unusual mementos.

Shirt is signed on the back by iconic Sergio, by Kenny on the front and comes with a written letter of provenance from the QPR stopper stating it's the shirt he wore THAT day when we witnessed arguably the greatest ever Premier League moment.

I was filming Young Musician of the Year as live in Newcastle that day. Missed the whole game, straight after we traveled to London for another job. Got into my hotel and turned the telly on to the end credits of MotD :(

Kenny that day reminded me of Hans Segers in May 1994. Maybe not quite as blatant.

Nah, the first goal was a bit shit but would be almost impossible to do deliberately. Apart from that he made some pretty decent saves.

Besides, he’s always on Twitter winding United fans up, telling them he threw the game. No one would have the balls to do that, if they actually had.

Sounds like the ultimate double bluff

Brilliant addition mate, congrats.

I’ve always wondered, what persuades players to part with these kind of things? Surely they kept these for a reason so why part now?

Genuine curiosity, not a dig.

I have a champions 12 shirt worn by a player after the game, not sure which player and I have no proof but I was given it by well known member of the city staff, I have no reason to believe it’s fake

Along with many others, got the obligatory match day programme, the main difference, mine being signed by the late, great Bert Trautmann, who I was introduced to after the game, by his friend and teammate Bill Leivers.

A few months later, bought one of the club’s limited edition, signed, framed, iconic photo of Sergio’s celebratory run, think it was limited to 150 copies, but not sure, still got pride of place on the dining room wall.
