Isak is a big threat - I think you can agree with that.Im not sure what you were watching,seriously? Sweden had 10 men behind the ball for most of the game,Spain had about 80% possession.....the defenders had very little to do.
Laporte did well in the few situations he had to,including blocking off a tall but lightweight centre forward.
It's not Laporte's fault that he had little to do defensively - Spain were dominant in possession (90+ percent I think first half... though less so 2nd half).
My point remains - Laporte - when called upon - had an excellent game - which illustrates why I value him so highly and hope that he remains in our side. The guy is world class. Idiotic that France doesn't want him in their side.

Finally consider this... Laporte has a physical weight advantage v. Isak... obviously.
But in a footrace, Isak is faster.
And Isak is taller too.
Isak has a number of physical advantages against Laporte.
And yet, over the 90 - against Sweden's most dangerous attacker - Laporte came through - when called upon. In spite of being slower and less tall.
