Exactly, if he has one weakness , it's lack of pace, and the resurgence of John Stones has shown it up even more.

The way Burke just glided past Laporte yesterday showed his lack of pace. Stones currently deserves to be starting, but Laporte is an excellent cb and a very good back up.

Laporte's reputation far exceeded his performances for me. He is solid but has deficiencies i.e no pace, injury prone, not tough. His distribution yesterday was very sluggish but will improve with more time.
Dias has all the qualities that Laporte should have in some degree . Hopefully the Ruben magic will rub off on him as it has on Stones.
