You could always see he had the potential. I'm glad he is realizing it now. I hope he starts against liverpool this weekend, it will be a great test. We will be able to play Rodri further forward if needed as well if they play togethor.

As someone commented at the end of the match he's left everything on the pitch ,the lad looks exhausted at the final whistle.

Vice versa for me as Rodri can strike a ball from anywhereRodri in the Nico role once he’s fit and Nico in the Bernardo/ Reinjders role would make us a fortress in big games imo

Sure I understand that some of them are just impatient and far too hasty in their assessments, whilst others are smartarses trying to demonstrate their clearly unfounded " expert knowledge" status ", but it happens so regularly and is frustrating.
