It’s a pity that Pep doesn’t rate him and that he’s too slow…
You could always see there was a player there. He’s got a decent brain too though and seems to be a quick learner.

He’s amazing at the moment. To get a booking in the 25th minute and keep on playing like he did, fantastic. Was not a fan at first but he’s learning quickly and is a constant top performer at the moment so happy to eat humble pie.

The only thing to be worry about him right now is he's from La Masia, so when he becomes way too good, at some point Barca will pull their usual La Masia and Spain bullshit and try to get him back.

Hes another example of a player that just needs time to develop under Pep. He looked lost last season but is now showing why the club paid £50m for him. He will be worth double that in a couple of years.

Another great game and works really well with Bernardo. Vital we keep him fit and healthy. Should be in the spain squad in this form but more than happy for him to get a nice rest whilst the arsenal midfield get more games.
you can see Rodri has given him lessons, his constant scanning of his surroundings has improved tenfold, he's rarely getting challenged on the ball anymore whereas last season he was regularly trying to hold off challenges he hadn't seen coming. Got a lovely weight of pass on him too.
Thought the booking was silly and it's something I've commented on a few times so far, he has really got to cut out the cheap yellows, you're limiting what you can do for the rest of the match and he's going to face a ban soon. Did really well not to be in danger of a second with how early he picked that yellow up though.

Test takenHe’s awareness when receiving the ball and his progressive passing is a real improvement from him, I’m hoping he can show that and the composure in possession in the heat of a Liverpool clash today, will be a real test for him.

He’s improving week after week and finally looks like he’s enjoying his football here. Red to wrap him cotton wool until Rodders is a serious option again
