Yeah I thought he was easily the poorest companion I can ever remember, no acting skills whatsoeverI suspect it might be returning.
There was a rumour bringing Captain Jack back with Jodie as a companion was going to be the springboard to be it being restarted. But the BBC said no after Barrowman's shenanigans.
It's obvious John Bishop's character was the series replacement for him. I don't see what the point in that character was. Bishop wasn't really that commited to the programme and it showed.
