Same.Surprisingly better than i expected him to be. I thought he was just another over hyped England player but i was wrong. What a steal too at that price.

Looks like a peak Stones already. Fantastic signing.Surprisingly better than i expected him to be. I thought he was just another over hyped England player but i was wrong. What a steal too at that price.
And the dippers booed him Sunday. Sums them up.Excellent. A proper defender. He doesnt have any standout attributes but he doesn't have any weaknesses either. Just a very good, solid player, exactly what we need. He'll become a vital player for us and one of the all time bargain signings. Our defence is set for years to come, just got to keep them all happy.
Thank you so much to the dippers for refusing to give Palace £30m for a £100m player.
He fills me with as much confidence as did Vinnie. Just needs to power one in from thirty yards, top corner, and I'm totally convinced.Stellar stellar man!
Never noticed him when watching his games for Palace or England. So I wasn't sure about the signing. Especially as we were getting him so cheap. As usual I was wrong. Id make a shit scout.
Great post, you're welcome on here so come back on.Hello. Crystal Palace fan here in peace!
I have very much enjoyed reading the reactions to Marc Guehi over his first few games for you, just as I have enjoyed watching those games. As a more modest team Palace always know that our superstars will eventually move on and so one has to find pleasure in watching them flourish and shine. And of course, in Marc, we all know what most people didn't: just how fucking good he really is. I know all fans overvalue their own players but - for a club of our stature - we have been truly blessed with talent in the past few years. Michael Olise is the most talented player to ever play for Palace, and his meteoric rise at Bayern is no surprise at all. It is quite amusing seeing some fans' disdain at buying from "little old Palace" give way to amazement as they realise just how good he is. And so it is with Guehi. Not criticising those of you who felt the same way about him: you don't watch him week in, week out and to be honest why should Palace have a CB of his quality?! Like I say, we have been blessed. (It's actually Eze who had a better reputation outside the club than he did inside and I am not surprised that he has struggled. He needs to be loved and free to roam and forgiven for absent performances...)
But anyway, in Guehi you have got yourself a consummate professional, intense yet calm, intelligent yet humble, so aggressive and yet so smooth. Rolls Royce is the word. And I don't think you've yet seen all he can do - just wait for his first marauding run through midfield and defence splitting through ball!
I really do think it could be the difference in the title race... I must say it was very funny that Liverpool missed out on him trying to low ball us. They must be livid.
Before I go, I'd just like to say that this forum reads very soundly and I can see that City fans are generally a smart and well-rounded bunch. I notice some grievances about the FA Cup Final - i am sorry lads! Henderson should have walked it's true, but then i wouldn't have experienced the greatest day in my club's history. It just felt like the gods were smiling on us that day. (And as our subsequent collapse proves - we lost to Burnley last night having been 2-0 up, FML - you have to enjoy these moments when they come!)
But anyway, Guehi is immense, you are lucky to have him and I hope we can still ruffle your feathers at the Etihad this year as we often manage to do!
Hope you catch Arsenal.

Wharton probably, if we mess up his contract situation as we usually do!Great post, you're welcome on here so come back on.
Although i was disappointed losing to Palace in the final i felt happy for the fans to see Palace win a major trophy.
Have you got any other 20m bargains hanging around Selhurst Park? ; )
Cheers mate. Had the "pleasure" of watching you beat us in tallaght in the conference league. Your fans behaved well and were very pleasant to mingle with. Marc didn't have much to do that nightHello. Crystal Palace fan here in peace!
