....Is it being very optimistic?

Will we go for it as a game plan in all these fixtures?

I know to have a chance of the title we need to win at the swamp. We should at least get 12 from 15, but a full haul would surely put us in a great position.

Thoughts?

to win at utd we have to go there and play to win...not like in previous games where we have gone there hoping to pinch something on the break....or going for a draw.

Utd are vulnerable and if we have a fully fit squad we need to go for it...

12 should be the minimum. 13 if we're lucky. As much as i want to believe it we've got no chance at the swamp. We'll play like the Arsenal game and the first derby but we'll conceed probably through the help of the ref and then there will be no way back.

If there is any remaining slim chance of a title win , then we have to win at Old Trafford ... no ifs and buts , only a win will do ...... and even if we manage it the title is still a longshot!

And lookin' at Chelseas return to form , we'd probably have to get AT LEAST a point there too!

Surely if we can take 6 points from Brum and WBA we have to be up for having a bloody good go at them on derby day?.... I mean i know "easy games on paper" are never what they seem, but we follow up the Manchester/Salford Derby with Fulham and Wigan both at home!

They've not lost all season and think they'e only failed to win once at OT all season; hardly vulnerable. They were vulnerable with 1 away win all season coming to the COMS but unfortunately that boat has sailed.

You're right that we should go and play to win because we cant afford not to but we will not be favourites.

Mancini's objective this season is top 4, not the title. He'll set the team up not to lose against the big guys and beat the small guys - expect the 'usual' at OT.

We should get 12?

I think you're being very disrespectful to Birmingham. I'd expect us to beat West Brom, Fulham and Wigan at home but I'd be delighted if we won at St Andrews and got a point at Old Trafford. Can see us realistically getting 10 points from the 5 games.

Brum will be a draw or loss unless we unlock the mystery of breaking down teams, and I'm not sure about the scum but we should beat Fulham, West Brom, and Wigan. After that comes Chelsea away... park the bus?, lol, but their midfield looked very beatable against Bolton.
