It feels anti-climatic now but when the title arrives in our hands I for one will enjoy the moment nonetheless.
The way we've played has been outstanding throughout the campaign. In years to come there will be many games I'll look back on with great joy.
2011-12 isn't just about the 6-1 and QPR game. There was the dominant 1-0 vs Utd that showed the shift of power. Ferguson came for a draw and blew it. The 2-0 away to Newcastle when Mancini brought De Jong on, pushed Yaya up and in the last 20 he bagged two. Nasri's late winner vs Chelsea. There was the 3-3 to Sunderland when we were 3-1 down with minutes to go. The Aguero and returning Tevez show at Norwich.
2013-14 we thrashed Arsenal 6-3, Utd 7-1 over two games, Spurs 11-1 over two games. The Everton game after Gerrard's slip that got us back in pole position, and Yaya's dismantling of Villa.
This season we'll have even more superb memories we have witnessed. Unfortunately we blew the chance of a lifetime last week and that will always hurt. We can win the UCL next season but unlikely the fixtures and results will align in a way that the title can be won vs Utd again. But the events on 13/05/12 will never happen again. Good enough for me.
