Agreed, I'm confident he knew he was going to get the guy sent off. It's like the controversial (but perfectly legal) goal vs Villa last season where he waited for Mings to touch the ball before tackling him and passing. Rodri is the kind of guy who probably knows the rulebook like the back of his hand and has already thought about every possible way he can use it to his advantage.

On another note, his physicality really is impressive. He brushed off every Wolves player like they were little kids yesterday.

Such a shame Rodri was not in this sort of form a few months earlier in which case we likely would be European champions. A key to the remainder of the season has to be giving him enough rest to keep him fit and injury free
