This probably wont go down well considering he's by far our best player
But how many times when we finally get a 3 on 2 situation does he delay the pass until he gets dispossessed.

Every time this happened, forward players did not run into space but were too close to the defenders for Kev to give the the ball. In other words, options were not there. He can see the pass, but only when you run away from the defender.

What we must guard against is putting de Bruyne in positions where he feels compelled to push himself further than is necessary. When the rest of his teammates are having off days, we cannot risk him overdoing it to compensate and in turn getting injured.

Superb pen and jammy assist. Some of his passing was a bit off but he's just too good anyway.

Also something that he did tonight that left his game last season was winning the ball back time and time again

This sums him up - last season was his absolute peak, because he slowed down and played a more composed game; as you point out, when he does press with intensity, his game - and especially passing - become sloppy.

He’s our main creative element now, so he should leave the headless chicken routines to the less talented around him, and instead conserve his energy for for when he has the ball.

Very poor today... poor attitude as well... Didn't seem to even want the ball..

I'm worried he's gonna end up fucking off at the end of the season if this carries on. Number of times he was throwing his arms in the air in frustration cos no one was making a run for him. We won't win the champs league and may even struggle getting top 4 this season. He won't want to waste his best years.
