Hot and cold. Some great touches/passes and some careless. Seems to be trending the right direction though. Slowly improving.

Mixed game today. Don't think he gets in our best team anymore.

Midfield cohesion is shot When hes in for gundogan. We leave huge gaps and struggle to play out.

Hit and miss for me today. Worked hard and played a key role in controlling proceedings, but his passing radar was still slightly off (2 or 3 great breaks downfield, let down by passes underneath the feet of the intended recipient), the fabulous raking 40 yarder near the end, notwithstanding

Nowhere near his best. Slowed play down and passing not consistent.

KDB a long way behind Gundogan as a starter for most games imo.

Plays so far forward, up against the opposition backline he leaves Rodri seriously exposed. We seem much more balanced with Gundo in there with Bernardo.

I agree we have looked more balanced with Gündy in there, but not entirely sure I agree with your reason. Gündy is also frequently our most advanced player when he plays that role and takes up similar positions to De Bruyne, at least some of the time. Maybe he's just better at playing that role and knowing when to push up and when to drop

Still coming back from having his head caved in in Porto, his ankle tortured in the Euros and then a dodgy dose of Covid.
Ginger Don will run tings in the second half of the season

Unplayable for the first half hour and the damage was done , appears to still be working on his stamina , imagine KDB playing for a full 90 minutes at his peak , that would be a sight to behold.

So that’s where he should play if Pep insists on shoehorning him into the starting 11. He’s a liability in the middle of the park currently as he (a) lacks fitness (understandable) (b) lacks defensive work rate and (c) is not really providing much creatively for others.
