I don't understand why he must Play. We can bring him on for the last 25 minutes. No one deserves to start.
He's starting because everyone else is also dogshit. Foden, Marmoush, McAtee etc have not been any better. KDB still created some good chances today.

Thanks KDB you have been great for us, But time moves on. You will be remembered as a city great. Both him and City need to move on

I mean for Tuesday. Having played 110 minutes today.

Because i think no one 'deserves' to start. I think being old, having played major minutes today should be ground for starting on the bench

He had a more than decent game. Made the only half chance for haaland first half with that stretched effort that was saved, second half he laid 2 on a plate, the one for O'Reilly in particular, he's given him the ball about 8 yards out with the opportunity to go either side and he's inexplicably chosen not to shoot on his weaker foot, kdb can't do anything more than that. Then he's given echeverri a similar but slightly wider ball for his shot at the keeper. There's 2 assist he should have had. He also put in a shift defensively and made some good tackles.

You defo can’t fault his effort but he gave the ball away a lot and he lacks the physicality to influence games as he did. Too much is being asked of him.

I wouldn't say he gave it away a lot, there was a couple of loose touches or bad passes but nothing bad or costly. people on here love to attribute an incredible amount of weight to something simple and inconsequential.

He's created 2 incredible scoring opportunities and 1 half chance that haaland made into a good effort. If O'Reilly puts his effort away as he should be doing and echeverri finishes his great chance then kdb is lifting the trophy and taking motm too despite doing literally nothing different. He did his role today.

He was abysmal, nobody really had a "decent game", we controlled possession for long periods (until we gave it away needlessly - and he was one of the most guilty), he often made the wrong pass in too tight spaces, to players who couldn't do much (we had a lot of them today).

He's done at the level we want, and it's sad to see, he should have gone last summer for me.

Oreilly defo should’ve got his shot away. I personally felt Kev should’ve taken the shot on rather than pass to echeverri though it was a chance tbf for echeverri to take the plaudits. Folk are forgetting very quickly how good KDB has been.

Strongly disagree. Felt most of the team had at minimum a decent game, nobody really had a poor game and kdb was one of our better performers.

Not sure how you can label a performance abysmal after providing 2 glorious chances to score. He created more than any other player on the pitch. If those two chances he's given on a plate to others go in, he's got 2 assists and motm,

Let’s face it, City were the better team but nothing went for us, palace parked the bus and got away with it, there time had arrived. But let’s be honest, they weren’t very good apart from defending and their keeper should 100% been sent off. The officials bottled it.

Strongly disagree.
Fine, I'm not going to argue the points, I gave them in my first post.

Like I said, it's sad to watch, maybe he tried too hard today, but it didn't work, there were worse for me, 3 of them playing as forwards.

It's done, the season is done, I think we'll struggle to get 5th now, confidence looked shot all across the team.

was at some points very frustrated with pep doesnt take him off as his final legacy was more important instead of bringing new legs on the field to take the chance to win the cup. So many silly ball losses and it seems like he wanted to be the main man to turn it around with a bit of a ego coming through.

Every other player would be after 25% of this sort if performance would be subbed of pep if his name wasnt KDB.

After all we clearly saw the Club made the right decision to let him leave. Wouldnt play him in any game this season maybe a farewell sub but not more.

100% this.

He was a shadow of himself and nowhere near peak KDB but against a team with 11 in the box he created 3 chances that would have been taken in previous seasons. Im not saying we should keep him or any or that nonsense but three chances that should have led to goals is a fact. No one else on the team looked like they could create even one. If we were going to score it was going to come via Kev so if he is as bad as been made out on this thread then the other 10 need to go before him. He also worked his bollicks off.

The pass was the right decision and not many would have been able to make thay pass, it put echeverri through one on one practically its always a better option than shooting outside the box when the box is packed.

I love Kev but he was pretty much playing for Palace in that second half. I can't believe Pep kept him on.
Playing for palace in the second half despite creating the two best chances of the game?? Replacing him with gundogan or grealish would have meant we created more chances? Completely disagree.

You could have played me with my dodgy knee and if I’d have had that much possession in those areas then I’d have, by the law of averages, got a couple of balls right.

He was fucking wank.
