Hello, In 1998 me and my dad went to Stoke Away. It was the year we both went down. We vowed never to return there because of all the trouble. For those in the wrong end it was no picnic! 17 years on the memories have faded and we've got tickets in the City end on the 11th. (South Stand)

Does anyone know where Man City Fans go before the match? Where to park etc.? Apologies if this is in the wrong forum section.

Cheers Mac and his Dad. (Block 104)

I guess 1998 was the dying throes of the old hooligan firms really, now it is just the odd knobhead or a few who kick it off.

I have just realised i have never been to the Brittania but did go to the Victoria ground on that infamous Boxing day when we took twelve thousand fans down there many in fancy dress.

17 years wow!!
we went on a coach from the lancaster club in failsworth and some right aggro down there

Never forget that day - ever. Some of the worst violence I have even seen watching City. The atmosphere before, during and after the game was pure evil. Saw some disgusting scenes inside and outside the ground including KOTK's Dave Wallace getting turned over by fellow City fans outside the away end. Tit's out Jackie pissed out of her head wailing like a Banshee whilst sat on the floor as all around her chaos was ensuing.

Bad, bad day.

Christ, you had me worried there thought you meant Brittania Hotels. Do not go near them real shit holes, bit like Stoke itself.

Why on earth was Dave Wallace turned over by fellow Blues??

Emotions were running high I guess but his crime was to continue to try and sell his fanzine despite our relegation.
