I actually wondered if he got a bit lucky there mate. He shouldn’t have come out so far in the first place. When Wissa burst past him i don’t think he was ever close enough to dive in. Either way it was good he didn’t. I don’t have a problem with him playing. We’ve got a lot more areas of the pitch to worry about!The best thing Ortega did though, was when he came out later on and realised he'd misjudged it, he stayed on his feet and forced the player wide, which resulted in Ake clearing. Ederson in the same situation doesn't back out and gives penalties away or gets red carded if it's outside the box.
I would have expected Ederson to be back in by now tbh, makes me wonder if he'll be leaving in the summer. Ortega isnt really a long-term option, so wouldn't be surprised if we've got our eyes on someone. Most keepers now are fairly good with their feet, I'd hope we could find someone consistently good at coming for crosses as well.
