I've just bought this fucking app it's a load off bollox is there anyway I can get a refund

One thing this app won't be is a load of bollocks. Fans who care about carrying the songs have been updating it so eventually you'll have a huge range on there.

To echo the other guy's point we have worldwide support and subscribers from the City branches in ireland italy germany belgium and the u.s.

but if you want out just go to the my apps bit on your own phone and just cancel. Anyone can have it or leave it whenever they like

Not trying to throw a spanner or undermine the efforts , just wondering how the subscription bit will work as there not really anything mentioned about additional costs when purchasing (unless im missing something ) if I buy it for the price it is today will I get continued use of it or will it cease to work once you go subscription?? And don't you think it would be a good idea to let people know this when purchasing original app so they don't get a sence of injustice or of being ripped of if and when they can no longer use the app they have already paid for ?
May save yourselves a bit of negative press as and when you change your terms of sale..

We've never said it was free ! Just certain peoples expectations on here? We mailed all the branches through kev parker a few weeks ago and we said you could get it for less than the price of a pint in town. When you go on it will say do you wish to pay yes or no. Its entirety voluntary. Hundreds of people using the android version fine. If you tell people its free when you have to pay then that would be misleading but we've not done that though. Other fan groups record cd's and sell them for a fiver a tenner etc it's not uncommon

You need to be careful mate. Calling it a scam is slander and we will monitor what you say. The only thing you are right about is that there is a temporary problem with it that we hope to get rectified shortly. We'll then be updating it weekly till we build a huge catalogue of songs plus we will add information about how and where each song started plus what certain songs mean ie we're not really here. Songs and chants from the 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s modern day humourous ones will all be in one place. Large sections of the ground are quiet and don't get exposed to the songs and we are getting more new fans than ever. Some do want to pay for it and can see the bigger picture. If you know every City song ever made fine but loads don't. We will prove you wrong in time.

It will work just give us time. We had a bug in the system when we launched android but that's working fine now. Also if a supporters branch is on the bus to a game and they have a song they can submit it in and we'll get it out there. If that makes an impact we can reward that branch because ultimately we want contributions off more and more people. So a branch might be able to subsidise an away trip because of it and bear in mind money we get goes to visual displays. West brom at home for example in april. 20 years since the kippax went and the 120th anniversary of Manchester City. There's things we will do to celebrate this. No one is more pissed off than me believe me that the songs that are there not coming through on ios just now but they will. The people who know us will know we are City mad and totally dedicated to making it work.

Unbelievable some of the negativity on here, probably from the same people who bitch and moan about the lack of atmosphere every week.

I am going to buy this app now. I don't really care what the content or teething problems are at the minute. I completely trust what this group are doing and saying. I am sure the app will be great in time, but even if it's not at least I've made a small contribution to a new banner or a new display at the ground.

In time the 1894 group will make a real difference, so if you care about improving the atmosphere you could do worse than supporting them and buying this app yourselves.

Just a tip though mate, rather than becoming confrontational over an issue of your own making or fault you are having with a paying customer, rather be apologetic and just get it sorted asap as its folk like DW7 that will make or break your venture ;-)

I'm Sorry, just not getting it I might be best waiting till you have got the bugs out the iPhone version then looking myself, I'm obviously not articulate enough to get what I mean across but I'll give it another go.

And iv not said anybody has said it was free let alone anybody from off here m8.

Then you are planning to change to .99 a month or £3.99 a year

What I'm asking is when you buy the app now for £1.99, will the App still work when it changes to monthly / yearly subscription and if it doesn't work if you decide you can't pay monthly, do you let people know at the point of purchase it is changing to a monthly subscription when paying there £1.99 now

When I have got apps that are monthly or subscribed (which are few) there normally is the light version which gives a preview of the content, then if I like it I download the full version, just saved me paying for the app (software ) that I'm not going to use should I decide it's not for me, where by if I pay for the App I'd expect continued use from it..

We launched it expecting it to work and 1.99 is an introductory price as there was less content on at the start. Your app will let you know when it moves to subscription model probably 2 weeks time and you'll get a choice of carrying on or not.

Yeah some apps work in that way but it's not like downloading one game after seeing the preview then thats it...this app need continued updating so there were set up costs involved that need to be covered.

Please reserve judgement till we are up and running. If in a couple of weeks time you are not going on with it and want 1.99 back pm us and I'll refund out of my own pocket mate

so what we felt was that not everyone would want to purchase the app thats obvious but everyone who wants to buy into what its for and where the money goes will buy it and thats happened so far.

it gave you the price and a choice to buy at the start and it will give you another choice when content is fuller meaning we go to subscriptions.

Cheers for the info, can now make a informed choice knowing what's coming, don't know about the legalities but could do worse the letting ppl know it's going to subscription on purchase could save yourself some negative press in the future, wouldn't advertise the 1.99 back from your own pocket too, you may end up a bit out of pocket yourself, ( I won't be asking for refund ) g l with the venture.

Unsure if knowing the songs is the reason behind the atmosphere though. Most of our songs are quite easy to know, but some people make no noise and expect the next person to do that. More and more non season ticket holders move to the south stand for cup games as well, bringing their library attitude with them.

There are too many pillocks who come and at the most crucial part of the game - the Navas foul prior to the pen and red card - will tell yer "it's only a game". Yeah it's a game where we're being robbed blind by some fuck of a Swedish millionaire who doesn't give a shit for anything other than his next appointment and the five star luxury into such he will squeeze his cheating arse! No. Its chip in and help a fans group grow if you want to and don't if you don't want to.

money gets spent on displays. Plenty of blues worldwide getting involved because its a way then can contribute financially when they are not able to attend games

will also be a good way to stop good chants dying out.
