We will know tuesday. Waiting on news from club on availability. Has to be in a block where people can hear us where we can spark people off. 60 odd on their own no good !

60 odd now.

Good increase on the original 38.

If this keeps up and more relocate in future games ,the figure could reach 100 soon.

Good work lads.Appreciate the effort.

Absolutley gutted can't make this match.the missus is on nights and can't get a sitter.
I'll be listening out for u on tv though boys and girls.might get a bit more coverage because if I'm not mistaken its on normal tv this time, not sky or bt. Sing loud and proud

See the Club are now selling a small allocation of tickets in 326 (Colin Bell 3rd Tier) and the North West Corner to allow for late bookings of groups.

They have had to do this as largely it is single seat availability everywhere else!

Heading towards 40k then, though Blackburn fans have been exaggerating their ticket sales. That's 3 blocks they have returned in the Upper Tier and have been sold to City.

I've been waiting for them to do this for a few days as I needed 2 together but could only get south stand which is a tenner extra, as soon as i buy them they finally open the 3rd tier, typical.

Might just stay in the south stand now though

Being in 217 will help you because you will be nearer to the roof and your singing will sound louder.

I'd say its worth trying... could give us a glimpse of what a South Stand L3 singing section would sound like!

Despite the good response (60 people applied) we need to call off the singing block for tomorrow match.
No seats available in blocks where standing is tolerated.

I personally think we were all expecting Rovers to sell less and also closing 3rd tier didn't help (people on cup scheme sitting there got relocated on level 1).. We are hoping to do this again for the next fa cup match (supposed there is one ;) as the feedback is been great and much more people applied compared to w ham match

Appreciate it's not your fault lads but it's fucked me over a bit. Me and my mate sit separate and we always relocate and get 2 together for cup games. Hadn't done this due to being allocated a seat in the singing block, just got off the phone to city now and the only 2 I could get together we're in the 3rd tier :/

Again like I said appreciate the club didn't let you know until the last minute but wherever possible you could do with letting us know sooner than the day before the game. Sorry for the rant because I'm fully behind what you lads are doing. Just frustrated that I could have had 2 together in 111/116/117 (preferable seats) but I'm now up in the gods :/

Pitty.

Doubt it will happen in the next round either if we beat Blackburn.

Bristoll will sell their full allocation of tickets for the game.

Throwing this one at 1894 and City.

What about 100 seats together for the Capital One Cup Final, if we get there. ;-)

The club could easily put 100 seats in the lower tier behind the goals to oneside for the 1894 group. They would easily sell out. They do something similar for the branches when City get to Wembley.

And let's be honest, we'll need to generate as much vocal support as possible, as the Rags are organized and pretty vocal away ATM.

Can you please put the suggestion forward to the club.

Thanks.

Puts a few of us in the same situation with seats i do sympathise with you. But its impossble to let people know any sooner and totally out of our hands. Its tough working with the club on ticket allocation, never simple... The more we request at future games the better we can get with this, its early days and can only get better... Cheers Alberto for efforts, lets still be loud and proud tomorrow...

See if we can plan anything for the next round should we beat BRFC.

Understand your frustration but low down on the 3rd tier would be ideal seats for this game IMO.

didn't know we started calling Sunderland 'rags'.
;-)

Is a singing area needed for a cup final? Last year's debacle aside, we've been noisy for our trips to Wembley, outsinging the rags, Stoke and Chelsea fans.

Names and supporter number to singingblock1894group@gmail.com looking like ss upper or lower can't say til Monday latest depends how many they bring

Wondered how this had been adminsitered at the club and if they'd look at doing one for other stands, like the North Stand? Guessing they are bothered for people standing in an area they seem to be able to control, but would be good for it to be discussed?

If its Watford or Bristol City they will probably take the whole end, and if we get to the 5th Round and get a home tie, anyone we draw will take the whole end

Tonight kind of proved we needed a singing block in my opinion

That's an understatement if ever there was one. The club can make this happen for Watford, they can surely find a hundred suitably situated seats where we can congregate together and make noise.

In fact, why not 200? If they are serious about improving the atmosphere now is the chance to prove it. If this is a success, singing blocks at cup matches can become a regular thing and can grow with each match. Come on City, sort it out
