He has come back and is not playing with kev and rodders so finding it difficult to cover for them
Some people will say we are reactionary and we have cover in Nunes, Stones and Lewis. One is a sick note and the other 2 have yet to prove they can put in a dominant shift in midfield. We need a young, tall and physical midfielderWe are trying to win the league with a top 4 (at best) quality midfield. We may do it but clearly it won’t be pretty.

We have been spoiled over the years with some truly incredible midfielders. Maybe we were due a couple of duff buys. We can’t afford more. The next couple of midfield purchases need to be the next KDB, Gundo, Silva(s), Toure, Fern etc. They cannot be shite like Philips and Nunes.Some people will say we are reactionary and we have cover in Nunes, Stones and Lewis. kdb is 34
bernardo 30
kovacic 30
nunes not trusted
phillips shit and loaned
rodri will be 29 the next time he plays coming off an acl tear
looking very scary to be honest. likely need replacing at similar time too and the last couple of midfielders bought have not been anyhere near good enough.

thats what we have right now so and will probably stay that way until hmm next summer, which we are 9 months away from.
