He's been terrible all season, he is on the Javi Garcia, Fernando and Phillips level of awful.
I think he's been operating at a level below the 3 you mention.

Considering the relationship those two have, Gundo has to have stressed that at this point. No way should we be relying on a 34 year old to be in our top 5 for minutes played.Given how honest Gundo is I’m almost surprised that he’s not pulled Pep aside and said I’m not what the team needs right now.
He needs benching, what I would give to see an O’Reilly or a Wright being given a chance, young lads with more energy is what this team are crying out for.

He was worth taking a punt on to get a leader most of the squad already knew and a rotation option where we're pretty thin already. It's on the board that we didn't get a replacement or rotation option for Rodri which brought everything crumbling down.He was a free transfer after Barca released him. It made perfect sense to take a flyer on him.
Hes having to play a lot more than he should do in a position he doesn't have the legs for at 34 because of the giant fucking injury crisis.
I'm not saying he's playing well, but acting like this was some disastrous decision by the board to sign him is just bullshit. Nobody is playing well at the moment.
