He's the one Id keep out of him and Bernardo. Still quality with legs around him and invaluable presence in the dressing room.
I would too but it makes it much easier for Pep, Viana and crew if players wish to leave voluntarily. He's the one Id keep out of him and Bernardo. Still quality with legs around him and invaluable presence in the dressing room.
Been great for us but when you look at psg and the age of that team and also Liverpool I can’t see him being able to make a difference in the big games against top opposition and if he did play it would only be an impact player .He's the one Id keep out of him and Bernardo. Still quality with legs around him and invaluable presence in the dressing room.

I don't get that logic. Bernardo is 30. Gundo is 34. Bernardo has worked his socks off and played in a number of different positions. Yes he had a poor season but he still did so much more than Gundogan. A decent rest this summer and he'll be back, and when he's on form which he had been for about 5 years, he's one of the first names on the teamsheet with the passion, effort and quality he brings to our team.
I don't know why so many are fine with the idea of Bernie going. It feels like people are forgetting he's not in the same age bracket as Kev and Gundo.
But then who leaves? This is the question. Something for Pep and Hugo to work out. Hopefully we aren't pushing players like Khusanov out on loan.Apparently the word now is he's staying for another season despite not being named in the captaincy group - can anyone help with a source for this development?
I've had Gundo & Kova moving on to Turkey for months in my head, absolutely need them off the free list to accommodate our new signings in the CL squad. The alternative is that he is only used for domestic competitions maybe as player/coach, at least until the Round of 16. I suppose Pep won't have sleepless nights when leaving him out of the matchday squad if he sticks around. Still looking very fit in the US training videos - good option if we get multiple midfield injuries as well and played steadily better as last season wore on, in fact was an automatic starter by the end.But then who leaves? Same two I had going. Nico G / SIlva on the bench covers anything they have.I've had Gundo & Kova moving on to Turkey for months in my head, absolutely need them off the free list to accommodate our new signings in the CL squad. Have a feeling Khusanov will be sent out on loan or Nunes will be sold and we will go with Akanji, Lewis and Stones as RB options.I've had Gundo & Kova moving on to Turkey for months in my head, absolutely need them off the free list to accommodate our new signings in the CL squad. before the injury. yeah id have had him gone with gundo. We have enough in his position/skillset in the middleYou had Kova going?
He seemed vital to Pep last season, I didn't think there was a chance of that ha.
Anyways, I suspect we see more loans than thought, or some simply not registered for UCL.
I think many would agree with that.before the injury. yeah id have had him gone with gundo. We have enough in his position/skillset in the middle
Just pure numbers at the minute in my draft squad, another CB probably has to go after Stones. If i could get FB who can play both sides and a starting RB for Nunes & Akanji somewhere I'm all good.I think many would agree with that.
The reason why I hesitate with such a clearout, is that I don't think you want to remove too many senior players.
They bring experience and leadership in their own way.
That's why I'm glad Bernie stayed, and I know Dias and Rodri bring leadership, but you need more than just the captains for this on the pitch.
Kova and Bernie are also still at good ages to compete at this level, around 31, and can help blood in the next generation in their positions (Reiijnders, Nico G, O Reilly).
I'm not sure about that. Nunes was good for us last season at RB. I would keep him. He has better stats than Livramento/Trent and Cambiaso do which is mad.Nunes being sold and a top level RB recruited instead would make Hugo a candidate for beatification in my eyes.
