To get him and Haarland on the pitch together we should take inspiration from the Leicester title winning side with Okazki playing behind Vardy. Both forwards thrive with a bit more directness with more space for quick link up if we accept having less of the ball. Our wide players are well suited to a 4-4-1-1 and would take pressure off them being goalscorers. Wouldn't leave much room for Pep's beloved Gundogan and De Bruyne though.

He has been an excellent signing and has the perfect attitude. Will continue to get better and better and make more of an impact for us i am sure.

Disappointed that he signed an extension. Would have him over Haaland as our first choice target to replace Benzema. Haaland looks like a guy who will wait for opportunities to present itself but at Real we need someone more proactive. I don't think Haaland can drift wide for meaningful lengths of the game or could score a goal like Alvarez did in the WC Semifinal. That goal was all about 'fight' and that's what we need long term.

Why Real didn't sign him when he tryout at youth team?

Superb game from Julian, it wasn't his fault that he had to play as 8 for most of the 1st half.

Brilliant player already and will become truly world-class in the future. I love everything Julian represents.
