Not really, but he also isn't used to not playing much, so I don't know how he is dealing with that.

For his own good though, easing him in the new country, league, weather etc is probably the best way to adapt him. I'm sure this season will be his learning experience and the next will be the real one.

The other thing to consider is he is coming off the back of a full season and hasn't had much of a break and has the world cup coming up too.
 
This guy is just sensational. He chases absolutely everything and it's a joy to watch. Coming off the bench with the game won he was just hounding their defence to try and win the ball back, nothing is a lost cause. It's fantastic. Having seen how Chelsea dominated Spurs by pressing them, we need Alvarez to start this weekend as they'll choke and keep giving the ball back to us. Shame he couldn't get the goal, but another impressive cameo from the bench. As the poster above has said, we'll need him for the whole season and he's already played a lot of football and has a world cup coming up so we have to manage him carefully.

Agreed. And I have no doubt the intensity of this season will provide him with plenty of minutes.
