It's not pep bashing. We are lucky to have him but he needs to stop being so afraid of transitions. He messes up some important games because of this fear.
exactly! this is a great example. if argentina played like pep wold by keeping possession that day, they would have been destroyed by france and lost 3-0. it was because they played fearlessly and took risk with playing dimaria and attacked france that they were able to score 3 goals. you are going to concede some transitions against a team with pace no matter how you set up. so why not take risk with your own attack. sabotaging your own attack is not the way to go.
that is true to a extent, but disagree that KDB and bernardo cannot replicate the workrate of argentina midfield. but having normal fullbacks instead of this inverted nonsense will atleast gives us more attacking output if pep is going to play mahrez and grealish. at the moment pep has simply forgo and stopped all attacking outlet of his own team for his own imaginary fear of transition against the likes of everton.

I am not talking about work rate. It is the speed and physical build. Team needs fast defensive mind midfielder to play transitions. Rodri is not fast and Bernado is very slow. If we want to play transitions regularly we can only have one of KDB/Bernado/Gundo and play two DMs behind them.
