1969 FA Cup Final - 50 years ago today! (26/4)

Like Derek's post yesterday, I also paid £5 for a 12/6 ticket, and I thought I'd been robbed, but alas it was behind the goal amongst Foxes supporters. I had to struggle to avoid leaping about when Nellie scored.
I also recall a perfect cross from Tony Coleman found Colin Bell in front of goal and the King headed straight at Shilton. I was mortified, but all ended well. I recall too a fine save from Harry Dowd, from Allan Clarke (correct spelling) - or was it Lochhead?

Wow ! Can't believe it was so long ago, I remember the year before at Filbert Street getting beat 4-3, talking to the Leicester fans saying "Next year we'll beat you and win the cup" ! Loved the Final !

Look at those losers. Not a baseball cap, £500 silly T-shirt or a pair of headphones between them.
