I am looking for a dvd - Man City - Widzew Lodz 2-2 , 14th of September 1977.
 
I was there. I think it was the game where someone jumped onto the pitch and gave Bonieck a bit of a grilling!
 
why ? i support City but live in Lodz, so naturally Widzew is my first love forever. Now We celebrate 100 years, so it will be fine surprise to give the lads who played at Maine such a gift, won'it?.
 
lodz cheated, a soft free kick was given nr the centre circle, one of our players picked up the ball whilst we regroup but then dropped it on the edge of our box, a lodz player(bonieck)? ran up and thumped it in, ref did fuck all.

Was fairly typical of the shit British teams had to put up with in European games in those days, even if you beat them at football you still stuggled to get through a tie because of the diving, conning refs etc. Nowardays our teams can beat them at that game too!
