He's a great bloke. My dad still visits him and vice versa every Christmas as they live close by, and both he and his wife send a card and buy my girls a present. I used to go with my dad when Glyn lived in Davenham, and I sat there starstruck while they talked City, then he would get his under 21 caps out for me to look at. Every Christmas when I was young he would bring me a poster (signed by the 1st team and management) and on one occasion he gave me a book (signed by all the first team), it really was the stuff off dreams (I've got one poster and the book left). He would have played for England if injury hadn't of wrecked his career. It was an emotional day last season watching him on the pitch, with all the other greats.
