Deserves credit for his previous work at the club but he is fucking terrible now. He is costing us goals every single game that he plays.

People have been saying for 2-3 seasons that he was done, and I think he proved them wrong plenty of times. Especially the treble season.

Not anymore though... He just looks a liability whenever he's on the pitch. One of several we've held onto too long without seeking any sort of replacement or understudy. Shame it has to end so poorly as he's been a fantastic player, but he no longer has any place in what this club is supposed to be.

Its actually sad how forcing an extension for this guy makes me hate him more with every game, with what he has done for us in the past.

He is only playing because Ake, Stones and Akanji were out.

Even with Lewis problems, he was better than Walker.

Maybe JSP should play? But Pep is weary of playing the young kid and shattering his confidence.

We look a far worse side with him in it - tells you all you need to know.

I hate to say it will be a good day when he finally leaves. In fact every single one of our poorest performances have one thing in common Kyle Walker starting. He's delusional and always will look to blame others for his poor play. Wants the fans to stay behind him and keeps referring to the past - he's done as a player at this level and is actually ruining what was a decent legacy.

You'll never beat Kyle Walker my arse - he's terrible on and off the pitch.

You can forgive it when they offer leadership off the ball. Vinny and Fernandinho were captain when they were past their physical best but offered so much in setting a professional example, being a figurehead and leader for the club and being a role model for younger players and fans.

Walker offers absolutely fuck all on or off the pitch in this regard.
He should have been booted out of the club when he got his cock out in that pub last year. Instead, we simply ignored a case of indecent exposure and ignored his behaviour more generally.

Apart from the embarrassment caused to the club, what sort of message does that send out in terms of professionalism, standards and setting an example as a senior player? Why on earth is he being allowed to be captain of the club? The players should never have been able to put him in that position - a decision should have been imposed on them by the management, who get paid vast sums of money to make these sort of decisions.

All we’re seeing now in his performances is the inevitable conclusion of that sort of behaviour and I’m afraid that as a club, we’ve allowed our standards to slip and we’re paying the price for it now.

This is exactly how I feel on all points.

Rinse and repeat:

I can't blame him anymore. It's solely on Pep for continuing to start him.
The first time we had 4 CB available, that's what Pep played. Walker is playing because bith Ake and stones are injured 90% of the time. Today there was no other option. If you think Pep wants to play Wlaker...

Strip him of the fucking captaincy at least.

Nearly Kolarov at Southampton (A).

He's done, use him sparingly for the rest of the season and get rid in the summer.

Play Akanji there until we bring in Frimpong.

To anybody on this page with a Genesis leaning......

He's turned into Phil Collins.
A shadow of the performer he was, and he's just embarrassing himself, now.

The baffling thing is that Walker has not played well for 18 months but is still in the team. He is targeted by our opponents every single week, especially on aerial balls. He has been brilliant for City over the years but the drop-off has been shocking.
