Personally I think he has always been a bit like that, but when he was at his quickest, his pace pulled him out of the shit. So his mistakes weren't highlighted as he usually recovered and dispossessed the opponent or forced them to pass the ball backwards.I still think he is quick, quicker than most anyway. My worry is he's costing us a goal a game when he plays. How he doesn't know the offisde line is set by the CB is beyond me. The amount of time he plays everyone on is frankly ridiculous. This isn't a new thing either.I don't worry about him losing a yard of pace, he's still quicker than most.
I worry that he reluctantly wants to pass a ball forward or put a cross in because 9 times out of 10 it doesn't go to a city player.
