2 | Kyle Walker - 2024/25

That last goal is fucking embarrassing. He still sets up on 1v1s like he did 5 years ago, when he could run.

His ego is writing cheques that his body can’t cash.
Same as for the Brighton game. He’s still giving wingers 10 yards and thinks everything will be ok. He’s finished and should have been sold after winning the treble.

Guy will be 35 come May. Not digging him out as he’s been a great servant, but questions should be asked of the club as to why there is no in-house successor and why 3-4 other players were allowed to go elsewhere.

Don't understand the criticism for that last goal. He simply didnt have the pace. Nothing he can do about that. He wasnt the one casually giving the ball away on the halfway line with a diabolical lazy pass, that was the man whose biggest contribution to the side is not giving the ball away...

He's a 35 year old in drastic decline, we knew this was coming, this is a shock to nobody with the brain capacity to understand the concept of aging. We chosbonot to address it. He has made his entire career from being quicker than everyone he comes up against and so he takes liberties with his defending because hes always had that ace ugihis sleeveHeIt makes sense to do that, but now he can't do anything to get quicker and he cannot now suddenly learn how to defend without blistering pace.

This was always going to happen at some point. Deciding to wait until it's too late and not preemptively find a solution isn't on him, it's on Pep and Txiki.

Finished, and has been for a bit. I await the clown who responded when I said this was the case a few weeks back.
