I think we have roughly the same chance of progressing as England have of winning the cricket world cup. Can't for the life of me see how Barcelona won't score at least a couple. As long as we beat Burnley I'm not that arsed.

This game has come at the wrong time , if our players were confident and in form , and keeping clean sheets , we would have every chance , but i dont think anyone has got a clue what defence MP is going to pick next wednesday . The only dead certainty will be his stubborness of playing 4-4-2 ,and if hes does , we could be in for a right mullering , but being a cup half full sort of person , i am going for a 3-1 city win , (and the drugs havent kicked in yet)

We need such a big performance and even then it might not be enough. Whatever happens in this game next week, I hope people understand that even with our best performance, we still might not even get anything out of this. This is a team now in resurgence and has the players to batter any team no matter how they play. The Schalke-Madrid game showed that had Schalke been able to defend they would of progressed but in the end it wasn't enough. We could have a Schalke type game where we score but simply then letting them score will make it utterly pointless. Barcelona need effectively 1 goal to put this to bed and I can guarantee they will get it.. A clean sheet first and foremost has to be the priority and then it is down to our front line taking chances.
