Am i the only one that isn't sure about the accuracy of that thing that lets you see what seats are available? Last season, i checked it out of curiosity before a game, and it suggested it was almost a sell out (just a few rows up in the gods left), yet come matchday the attendance was about 6,000 short of capacity and there were empty seats everywhere. I felt like a right tit though because i'd been going round telling people "it's a near sell-out today lads, should be a good atmosphere" only for it then to be a shit atmosphere and nowhere near full!

However, i'd be very surprised, and disappointed, if we don't sell this game out.

Maybe, it could be due to the fact that there was no away fans?

It was partly to do with that, but only about 2,000 of the 6,000 empty seats were in the away end and there was several blocks in the City end with barely a single City fan in (mainly in the 3rd tier) that simply did not show up on the online ticketing website.

I was checking my Milk Bottle Top collection the other day (over 600,000 ) and I noticed that one of them resembled (in a certain light, facing away from the sun, twisted slightly to the left) Jesus.

Surely there'll be a fair chunk of people buying tickets on friday when they get paid (or thursday when they get their JSA considering the way things are these days!) ? If there are still any tickets left by then anyway...

OS says we are on course to beat our OPENING DAY attendance record. There were about 450 left to buy on line at lunch time. Can't buy family stand tickets on line, so don't know how many left in that bit.

I think it's just things like City legends names put around the stadium, paint job on the concourse etc...

I'm pretty confident that the attendance will be over the 47,000 mark for this one ...... the buzz from Blackburn has inspired a number of 'extra' fans to get tickets , and now it's up to the team to play well enough to keep them coming to COMS ....... Wolves have sold all their allocation too ...... so yes , i can see the ground being full for this one .
