Stats?

What about eyes, he has had an exceptional season, stats are not required to back it up.
 
We need his play in the midfield especially his energy and calm display not in the front three.

It was a bit like the CL final here he put Gundogan as the deepest midfielder with Rodri, Dinho on bench. All it does tactically is surprise ourselves rather than the opponent.

We do need a striker as it was mentioned more and more games recently where whoever plays false 9 it is a struggle as nobody has it really in him to play this role to perfection, Foden is the closest imo from the rest but even he is much more of a crative midfield player or a left winger than an attacker.

Jesus played there a lot too but never really got any great numbers, not even when he played as a normal striker.

I dont want Sterling, Grealish to play this role as they are even lesser fit for this role.

Gives him the most licence to move where the space is when the middle is packed with CBs and DMs. over the RCM. I like what you get from him offensively with the movement options (can go either side or deep), but losing him from the defensive side in the middle, not a fan. (despite Kev putting in a hell of a workrate tbf)

Pep gave the shittiest answer possible :D

According to Pep that's where KDB and Gundogan play "normally".

So unless someone is injured Bernardo won't get his favorite position and elsewhere he is shite - we all know that.

But I don't understand - what he could have done more - in order to make sure, that RCM is his position and where he plays "normally". Especially when Pep branded him as the "best in PL".

Difficult situation TBH - if nothing changes - I don't see him extending the contract.

Bernardo 20 times in 2,231 mins, once every 111.5 mins.
