He's being played out of his posistion, when he came on yesterday he played as a striker behind Alvarez in a 4-4-2 what do you expect him to do?

I don't know what game you were watching but he played as a right sided attacking midfielder in a 433. Which is supposed to be his best position.

He sure as hell wasn't a striker.

You need to watch the game back he was playing behind Alvarez as a #10 basically playing the same posistion de bruyne was playing before he got subbed.

Yes de Bruyne who was playing as an attacking midfielder

Look at the heat maps, they don’t lie. All of his touches on the right side of midfield or anround the corner of the box where our 8s make their living. Absolutely delusional to pretend Bernardo was playing striker, just because he was pushed up a bit higher than normal, but some people will bend over backwards to excuse his bad performances.

He looks shot to me, completely shattered, he has played a ridiculous amount of games since he joined us and he put his body on the line in every game, looks like it has caught up with him at this time.

fair play to Bernado, He's done well for us but I am happy to see him go. Hope he has success elsewhere
Moreover - if his heart is elsewhere - as much as he wants to try - will it be at his very best. Bernardo hasn't let us down in his performances at all - but he wants out - let him go.

Have a feeling he's in recovery mode since Christmas. Very limited minutes. Hopefully he'll be back to peak form soon - perhaps when the CL restarts. I can see him and a couple of others being kept back a little so they are fit for sustained action until the end of the season. My feeling is that Pep's been quite clever about this - it's just that loss to Utd really hurt.

Checked out or off form? I’ll go against the grain and guess the latter because he doesn’t seem the kind of guy to sulk or play half-arsed. He wouldn’t be alone this season In being off the pace; nor will he be alone if he snaps out of it. Mahrez anyone?

He‘s played a helluva lot of football over the last 3 years. Maybe a few games predominantly on the bench will refresh him for a big late season push.

He looked more like the top player well all love and know last night.

At this moment he has to play in front of Gundo and Kdb, we desperately need his energy and ability.
