Interestingly for Bernardo, Barca have courted him for years but spent their budget on Olmo this summer instead.
Because of that I think we'll get a great season from him (as that's a blow to his ego) and he won't be appreciated anywhere like he is at City.
He'll know that and be ready to prove his worth once again.

It will be interesting to see which position is reserved for Bernie. We have Bobb and Savio on the right now. This is his best position too.
He can play that Gundo Nr. 8 but he tends to give a chaotic dynamic to our build up and it is not always the best option for the team. On the other hand having him in the midfield when chasing the result is a blessing. He is like Messi then.

I still have bought the story that Bernie wants to go back to his beloved Portugal with wife and kid and play a bit for Benfica.
Therefore he has to leave on a free in 2026. A new new contract anywhere else would make that move impossible - if that really is his wish.

Silva's strength is his versatility, and like the Gundog, he can play anywhere from pivot to false nine.
He might not be in Pep’s best XI, but he will start and star in a lot of games.
