There should be about 50 pages of apologies judging by the pre-match comments I skimmed walking down to the match all slating his inclusion.

As I said midweek, his effort should never be questioned, he runs and runs. He's just not getting any support most games. Today we were more compact than usual, gaps weren't as big which meant less distances to cover, which meant Bernardo could actually get there and not just be played around. Bernardo cannot be Bernardo if there's nobody with him.

Get a competent genuine holding midfielder, have kovacic and bernardo infront of him and we go from no midfield to a midfield that can compete with anyone.

He's a player opposition fans hate because of his niggly fouls, but who cares, the little man has been a legend for City. Whilst he has dropped below his usual standards this season, it will be a sad day when he leaves.
