Or let's say Gundogan is, which other player is being sold? From the list of Kovacic, Akanji, Nunes, Nico G, Ortega and Khusanov who are most likely to leave permanently or on loan (Nico G and Khusanov's case), I don't think we can afford to let go of any of them.

Selling players like Stones, Ake, Grealish etc don't really count as they are homegrown. You may as well keep all of them for a bigger squad.

Then some u21s will be loaned like Echeverri and Reis, any other u21s that put as over the limit will not be registered for UCL.

I'm worried that after this, it’s going to be hard to motivate the other lads to keep playing. No one will understand how a guy who shows nothing and contributes nothing week in, week out still plays every single match.


Right now, we’ve got a bunch of players better than him in DMF, CMF positions: Rodri, Nico , Gundogan, Kovačić, Rejinders

And even more going forward;

Marmoush, Bobb, Doku ,Savio, Cherki ,Echeverri .
