How high can you jump? Plenty of tall people who struggle in that department despite the obvious height adavantage.

Bernardo is our little scrapper, he's the little engine that can and we'll miss him massively when he's gone.

It’s Pep’s most underrated talent, he replaces stars with stars. Different players, players you’d never imagine.
De Bruyne replaced YaYa, nothing a like, nothing at all.
Bernardo has replaced Fernandino, he covered every blade of grass, doing all the ugly stuff, grafting his nuts off and doing all the shithousery you can think of.

Bernardo alone remains from our starting XI that day: Stones an unused sub; everyone else - Ederson, Walker, KdB, Serge, Vinny, Spanish Dave, Sterling and Gundo - each and every one a legend - gone; Leroy, Eric, Gaby, Mahrez, Zinny and The General - all central figures of multiple trophy-winning games and seasons - gone too; only Muric, and possibly Danilo from that day, were bit-part players overall.

From one of the best young players in Europe to elder Sky Blue Statesman in the blink of an old foc’s eye. My favourite ever Pep signing.
