20 | Bernardo Silva - 2025/26

Understand fully why he is captain. When we’re playing well he’s in the middle of it, and when we’re not, the same applies. Crazy intelligent.

The first yellow was never a foul never mind a card the other night. Good tackle got the ball.
His head seemed to go for a few minutes and he should have received a booking for jumping into Burn. Couldn't have had any complaints if that had been a booking.
One of the mysteries of the game for me is why does Bernardo never get banned for accumulating 5 bookings? He seems to get booked every game.

Otherwise another tireless, selfless and vital performance from our captain.

Still gets it on social media from some overseas dickheads and plastic teenagers

I think even plastics get the value of Bernardo as they realize he's irreplaceable and we'll hugely miss the little fella when he leaves.

It's just content creators and dumbasses looking for clicks who would say anything about Bernardo. You know that clown guy who roots against City but somehow has enough followers to be friends with Ronaldo? Forget his name.

Feast your eyes on these fucking brain donors.

I love him so much still, he is a wonderful role model and captain
As do I, but in matches like Saturday he needed to come off. As did NOR. NOR was MOTM but dead on his feet in the final 20.

The problem with that is whether or not the first yellow card is correct or not, it was bloody stupid what he did 2 minutes later, and it could easily have cost us the result.

I fully expected Pep to take him off, but he didn't, and a testament to Bernardo he avoided trouble thereafter, but it's still stupid, and he's a bit stupid with his mouth at times too.

All that said, he'll long be one of my favourite ever players.

Bernie is certainly shutting up all the numpties who were calling for his head, saying he was past it, and who were blind to the contribution he makes to how we play.

POTY so far. The Energizer Ninja!
I was one who had a go at Bernie last season, not too much of a go but I questioned him. So glad to be proved wrong, he's been great this season.
