Is that right? It's great for access card holders but the measly 190 points I got for renewing my seasoncard seems a bit unfair

Sorry to moan but I felt it had to be said (if I've got it right)!

I noticed that and it's taking the pee.

Don't know how things total up over the season, but would guess it's possible that a non-ST holder who attends most of the home games will end up with more loyalty points over the season that a ST holder who's renewed.

They pay more but dont deserve more points

I've always said the home cup games should get 50 points. But there's a split with people agreeing and people yelling. We deffo should get the points added for Wigan if you scan in and actually go to the game!

It has always been like that. You will get the extra points at some stage (not sure if it's the end of the season). You get 1000 points when you buy a ST anyway then 190 points at the start of the season (10 per game). The extra 20 will be added on.

you get the points added mate

Really, I just get the extra 30 added on to my current total? It hasn't always worked like that has it?

Yep - in the close season you'll get the extra points added (20 more for this game as you already have 10 from ST purchase).
Certainly I've had extra points added in the summer before ( season before last I think as we didn't have any over 10 point games last yr)

Why is it 30?
I thought all home games were 10 points, regardless of who we play, or what type your ticket is?

Do you reckon Kaka could be paraded before the game if we complete his signing today?

I'd doubt it personally, I'm sure we can wait til the Newcastle game!

Actually the Newcastle game is on the 28th, not sure if I can wait that long ;-)

cheers for that - something I never realised, must check my points total more carefully in the summer!

Fuck. I'm so excited.

After mate emailed the club -

Thank you for your email.

At the beginning of the Season all Seasoncard holders are awarded 190 loyalty points, which is 10 points for each game. Throughout the season extra points are added approximately every 10 weeks. At present the only extra game to have been awarded more than 10 loyalty points was Portsmouth, these have been added. The points for Seasoncard holders will be revised again after the Middlesbrough match and you will be awarded the extra points for Wigan, Newcastle and Middlesbrough. The Citycard/Accesscard holders will never get more points from the games than the Seasoncard holders.

I hope this answers your question.

If you would like to copy this answer and post it to some of the forums you are talking about, that would be great and should help kill any incorrect idle speculation.

Regards
