Apart from the material and the sponsor name it looks remarkably like the one from the year I was born!! And blueinsa, Sterling will look much better in a Liverpool kit thanks. :-)

I think it's just the light, but the shield looks fine on that one. That's what they should have done. If they're gonna insist on the shield, make it an actual design feature, rather than trying to camouflage it as the same colour of the shirt. More like this:

At least they got the shorts the right colour though this time. Looks good overall.

Yeah, just get one of the other shirts they make. I wouldn't mind if they were actually decent quality, but I've had too many football shirts go to shit after a handful of washes.

The shirt is fitted with Nike Dri-FIT technology which apparently draws sweat away from the body to the exterior of the shirt and shorts where it quickly evaporates - so the players can sweat as much as they like.

As for the "shield"
The blues of the shield and shirt never match, so as we had with the Reebok shirts, the shield should be a black background

Isn't the Dri_fit thing only on the player shirt which are different material ?
