Would they sell more than a dozen of these? Is the design brief for the third shirt to come up with a kit that could be voted 60th shittiest kit in the PL?

It's what Nike currently do with their high profile clients. Look at barca's third shirt for the last few years. Take it more as a compliment that we've finally been given one. Our importance to Nike has never been higher. We're second only to Barca. It's bright, really really bright, but it's not half bad in truth. Kids will love it and that's where they make their money.

Agree with you on the red idea. I think we'd look brilliant in a simple, plain red shirt, with white shorts and red socks with a black turnover and two white stripes on the turnover. It would make us massively intimidating.

Jim, didn't you say earlier that a red shirt, red shorts, and red socks would also look pretty mint?

Maybe with a monochrome yellow badge? Though that in truth would look sharp on that red/white/black suggestion as well.

I wouldn't want any red in City's colours, ever. I just don't like it and imo it shouldn't be part of "City's colours". Game of opinions I guess. But wtf is supposed to be intimidating about red colour anyway? Nothing for me at least and I'd imagine it's the same for most people.

I think I'm okay to say now. The home kit is due out on the 10th and it will initially be exclusive to the city store/website. it will be released elsewhere a week later, These are currently place holder dates and may still change.
