I think its the buttons that i really don't like. i like 1 and 3, but that second one is rank. Apart from the badge of course,.

what about tattoo's? I have got the old round badge on one arm and the new badge on my other arm. I hope that's ok or it means laser surgery ;-)

How about scarves? Is that okay with you? After all, who would wear sky blue and white bars to make a fashion statement, eh?

You know what . . . screw it. No City logos anywhere on any bit of clothing. While we're at it, ban banners in the ground too. Let's paint the new Etihad seats red or yellow.

Scarf's are fine but Half and half are a big no.
I shouldn't have really said I agree with it all as I don't. Wearing a city shirt is OK just for the match only if it has no name or premier league badges, not sure why you'd want them anyway. Never wear it if you are going to the pub to watch the match because that is sad. Also I would avoid wearing it if you're playing a game of 5 a side, nothing more sad than seeing a 50 year old man in a full kit with a name on the back. I play every Thursday night and there's a man who wears a full spurs kit with kane on the back. Socks and everything. He looks a right twat. Also don't wear it for fashion purposes. If you're a kid then wear away

Tattoos are fine mate.

I don't know why i hate collars on football shirts, i just don't think it looks right. My favourites have always been the ones with the rounded neck. Maybe it reminds of school and the horrible rugby shirts they made us wear.
I'm the same - looks f*cking awful, a throwback to the 80's

Bought the home shirt in the 11/12 and 13/14 seasons and the maroon/white away shirts in the 13/14 season partially for this reason
Best not be a collar on next years or the sequence will be broken and we won't win the league in 15/16

The full kit is an entirely different kettle of fish. Here in the good ol' USA, I have never once in my life ever, ever seen a grown man (or even a kid) in a full baseball, basketball, hockey or American football uniform unless he's employed by the team in question. But for some reason it's a pandemic over there, especially in 5-a-side. Crazy!

I've got no issue with tops, and no issue with names and numbers if it's a player you love, but I tend to agree that its best worn at the match (true of most sports) and not as a fashion statement. Gotta have kits in the pubs here in the states because kits are how groups of sleepy, disparate fans find each other at 7 AM on a Saturday when a place is airing a half dozen matches on a half dozen TVs at once!

If you're a kid yes
Interesting. You think it’s sad for an adult to have a footballer’s name on the back of his replica shirt, but you don’t think it’s sad to use keyboard characters to create the shape of an AK47 in your location for your profile on an internet forum.
